I bought a sketchpad for 5.00$ on clearance at Michael's!
100 sheets of 70lb paperrr~

I bought a pack of bristol paper (15 sheets, 100lb) to experiment with as well. Also because it was on clearance. I had to choose between a semi-transparent "pen and marker" paper... which I figured might be like rice paper, sketch paper which had some weight, and drawing paper which had a different weight but a finer grain? In any case I bought the bristol paper and now I need to do something with it.

I'm getting the feeling that I've been using bristol paper for a while now though. I've been using Mead's Academie Sketch Diary which is labeled as "heavy weight" and seems to be fine grain...

I am so lazy I need to scan.

I also need to color my own work... as mentioned before. I'm actually thinking of moving back toward traditional media. There's definitely something unique about having a picture finished completely by hand. Not saying there's anything wrong with cg or it wouldn't be my primary medium...

Actually, I do have a 10-pack of Prismacolor pencils. I bought them maybe in the winter, when they were on sale half-price. The issue is that they're Prismacolor and therefore pretty and I so totally don't want to waste them...
